his story
Ivan Scott, founder, and CEO of Sheva Technologies is an Information Technology professional and entrepreneur who began his IT career in 2004 while holding an internship at the United States Department of Agriculture as an Entry Level Network Administrator during his Junior and Senior year in High School. After graduating in 2005, he signed up for Computer Networking courses at Prince Georges Community College where he developed a passion for Computer Networking. In 2008, he was hired as a Customer Support Technician at Cogent Communications, one of the world’s largest Internet Service Providers, where he gained in-depth knowledge of telco WAN technologies and IP services.
After leaving the company in 2012, he decided to get into government contracting where he would work for some top government contractors like L3Harris, CACI, and SAIC, providing an array of network support, engineering, training, and operational maintenance & sustainment for mission critical services for their high profiled clients. Over the years he obtained his Cisco Certified Network Associates, Cisco Certified Network Professional Certifications in Routing and Switching, Security+ certification and holds an active DoD Secret Clearance.

In todays digital world, we spend a majority of our time online sharing and retrieving information constantly, and in doing so, we increase the odds of becoming a victim of a cyber attack. This is where the proper training and knowledge of how various systems can be compromised and ways to mitigate those risks become paramount.
